Shahrar Ali has lived in Brent for ten years and actively campaigned for local residents throughout that time, whether on protection of our green spaces, reliable and affordable public transport, pedestrian safety, transparency over the unaffordable Civic Centre project, or the decimation of our local libraries.

Waste Management

Brent council is about to commence consultation on a new waste strategy. We say we need a genuinely sustainable approach, including reducing packaging, encouraging re-use and increasing domestic composting.
